Hello! My name is Erin Mallory, and I have a two-year-old daughter. I have only been in the childcare setting for about a year but am looking to continue my education in child development and become director certified. I have always had a passion for caring for children and am looking forward to theis next chapter! Thank you all so much for letting me be apart of yours and your children's lives.
About Me.
My name is Amber Trapp, I am a mother of two boys, ages 6 and 8. I have learned a lot about myself through this short journey of raising my boys. One thing that has stuck out for me, is my love of teaching them and watching them grow. I have enjoyed caring for other children on and off for the last 20 years. From babysitting for friends and family to nannying, motherhood, and licensed in-home childcare, I am always pulled back in and reminded of my true passion at heart.

To begin my studies, I went to State Fair Community College in Missouri for early childhood. There, I met a person who was Deaf and fell in love with the Sign Language. I switched major to pursue Sign Language Interpreting.

I transferred to Maple Woods Community College to complete my studies in Sign Language and was awarded my associate's degree in Deaf Studies and American Sign Language.

My love for American Sign Language and Deaf Studies took me to William Woods University where I completed my Batchler's degree in just three short semesters.
Fastforward a few years and I am back to my original passion, childcare. Don't get me wrong, I still love Sign Language, and I use it every day with the children, but watching children grow as a whole is priceless.

I have completed my first step to getting my associate's degree in early childhood education with obtaining my Early Childhood Education Certificate.
Director certified and Excelerate Circle of Quality Gold are next on my list. I would like to open a center here in Abingdon, IL and give the best quality care I can.
